One tree at a time

We want to make people feel good. We want them to know they can make a difference. we know people like to shop... so we started Brandless Rescue Goods and have since donation thousands of dollars to animal rescue organizations and participated in international dog over-population control and local Ontario cat over-population control.

We've always cared about the environment and spread the good word in our merch starting with a bucket hat embroidered with "there's no planet b", followed by a hoodie and stickers with symbols showing love for our earth and all things dependent on it. At the beginning of 2023, we started planting one tree with every online order. To make an even bigger impact, we've added an option for you to add six more planted trees for $10 CAD in our online shop!

Where do we plant trees? Where research shows they're most needed right now of course! Right now, longleaf pine forests are among the most biodiverse in North America and provide habitat for numerous threatened and endangered species. Longleaf pine forests are well-adapted to a warming climate as longleaf pine is a resilient species that is fire-dependent, drought-tolerant, and long-lived. Reforestation of longleaf pine ecosystems - to increase, maintain, and enhance the species- has been identified as a priority area within America's Longleaf Range Wide Conservation Plan.

We won't pretend we're doing the tree planting. We partnered with One Tree Planted, funding their efforts to plant trees. We believe that together we can do more - this is at the core of what we do and is the reason we are able to do so much.
